What if i cant afford the entry fee? IF THE FEE PRESENTS A BARRIER, YOU MAY REQUEST A NEED-BASED WAIVER. Limited Waivers available per year.
ARE GROUP SUBMISSIONS ALLOWED? YES. YOU MAY SUBMIT AS A TEAM WHEN A PROJECT REFLECTS SHARED AUTHORSHIP OR INTEGRATED PRACTICE. FOR EXCELLENCE IN SPA & WELLNESS, TEAM ENTRIES ARE ENCOURAGED. The Fee is the same for a group or an individual.
WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT APPLYING AS A TEAM? TEAM GUIDELINES: • NAME A PRIMARY CONTACT WHO WILL COORDINATE COMMUNICATION • LIST EACH CONTRIBUTOR WITH ROLE, LICENSE STATUS, & RESPONSIBILITIES • PROVIDE ONE COHESIVE NARRATIVE THAT EXPLAINS COLLABORATION, WORKFLOW, & OUTCOMES • MEDIA RELEASES MUST COVER ALL CLIENTS FEATURED IN PHOTOS OR VIDEOHELPFUL NOTES FOR ALL APPLICANTS
Who can apply? Licensed estheticians, Applicable Cosmetologists, esthetic educators, skin health professionals, spa teams, & allied practitioners may apply. Applicants should meet all category criteria, hold an active professional license where required, & agree to the judging guidelines. International applicants are welcome. Students may apply for the Rising Artist category if they are enrolled in an accredited program or hold a recent graduate status within twelve months.

When is the deadline to apply? Deadline: mid June of the year of award. Late entries are accepted only if announced on our site.
Who are our judges? independent, knowledgeable judges evaluate each entry using published criteria. No public voting & no social metrics. Each judge is picked based on their resume & history.
Can I be a judge? We are always taking submissions. our judges are impartial, unpaid, volunteer positions. This helps keep our awarding above board.
What if my submission videos or photos are too large? With larger Media: upload photos or a short video that demonstrates technique, results, or educational impact. Obtain written consent for any client imagery. If you can not upload via the document, you can email them in directly.
Any Rules regarding media? Yes. We BASE OUR AWARD ON Integrity. PLEASE disclose edits, filters, lighting setups, or post-processing used in media. YOU WILL NEED ALL ORIGINAL WORK WITH PERMISSION TO SHARE CLIENT IMAGES OR EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS
WHO SEES MY APPLICATION? submissions are confidential & used only for judging unless you are selected as a finalist For laureate, in which case we request permission before any public feature.
